The lure of the road has always seen a defining motivation for singer-songwriter Jackie Bristow.

an Fisher left his home state of Missouri when he was twenty-one to roam the streets of Europe for fifteen years. His music mixes his rural Midwestern American upbringing with a dark delicacy shaped by his time abroad. Simple, yet emotionally complex, he has the acoustic grit of an early Jeff Tweedy with a sentimental pen ready to strike a la Townes Van Zandt. His voice rings somewhere between that of Jim Croce and RufusWainwright and his productions have been compared to low-tempo Dan Auerbachtracks. Fisher has written nearly two thousand songs while touring extensively through Europe, Africa, and North America. His many albums have earned him praise in such outlets as Rolling Stone, who calls his music “Half Americana & Half Abbey Road-Worthy Pop”. He is currently working on his next album and living between Toronto, Vienna, and his family farm in Missouri.

Son of the Velvet Rat is the alter ego of songwriter Georg Altziebler and his wife Heike Binder, who a decade ago left their hometown of Graz, Austria, and the cloistered safety of the Continent for the endless highway of America. They came to rest in Joshua Tree, on the edge of California's Mojave Desert -- an alien, alluring landscape that no less than Neil Armstrong once christened the closest to that of the surface of the moon.

DescripRaising Daughters ain’t for the weak. The country folk duo, led by Josette Axne and Hallie Riddick, interrogates the ever changing role of a daughter. Grounded in sound that is “reminiscent of The Staves and Indigo Girls with lots of harmony and humor” (Laura Shine, Louisville public media), the daughters strive to bring perspective to conversations of girlhood, coming of age, and legacy.
